Experience

I'm a mostly self-taught web developer with a passion for creating things (from useful apps to games and fictional worlds). In any role I take on, I seek to improve: my knowledge and abilities, existing workflows, and camaraderie between colleagues.

  • July 2016 - January 2017

    Coding Bootcamp at UNC-Chapel Hill

An intensive 6 month course where I spent 15-20 hours a week working with the technologies listed above to gain the skills necessary to become a full-stack developer.

  • June 2015 - Present

    Coleman Research
    Survey Associate

I currently manage B2B and B2C market research surveys for clients at leading hedge funds, private equity firms, and consulting firms. My role involves programming the complex behind-the-scene logic necessary to turn a word document into an effective online survey. At times this requires creating custom JavaScript solutions to handle client requests.

  • August 2011 - May 2015

    B.S. in Business Administration,
    University of North Carolina, Chapel-Hill

I graduated in 2015 from one of the nation's top ten undergraduate business programs (Kenan-Flagler Business School). Although I enjoyed my business studies, I began experimenting with programming through resources such as codecademy.com and udemy.com and realized I wanted to switch to a more technical and creative field.
